About Gateway Sertoma


Featured in the photo are Gateway Sertoma members celebrating its 60th anniversary (for more information on the 60th anniversary, see post to the right).

Established on April 23, 1961, Gateway Sertoma has since contributed more than $1,500,000 to many deserving organizations in our community. Funds are raised through club membership and fundraising events.

Currently, Gateway Sertoma and Northeast Sertoma Clubs are meeting the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 7:15 a.m. at the Masonic Lodge located at 1542 North 65th Street.  When it is deemed safe, we will resume meeting Wednesday mornings at 7:15 a.m. for breakfast at Tabitha Health Care Services in Lincoln.

The Gateway Sertoma Club continues to sponsor many projects for the aid and improvement of the community and service to its citizens.  Club members donate a great deal of time and energy each year to a number of projects which develop strong ties to each other as well as to the community.

These include: Tabitha Meals on Wheels Golf Event supporting HearU Nebraska, Nebraska State Hearing Aid Bank, Peoples City Mission, Salvation Army and other human service, non-profit organizations !
