Brian gave us an update on Blue Blood’s plan for their new venture in Robbers Cave. After 3 1/2 years, they are expanding their brewery. Scheduled to break ground in June, Robbers Cave is being prepped for a new tasting room and area for private parties. He talked about the history of the cave and all sorts of stories they hear about how it was used. There’s a painting in the cave that is said to be dated back to 1888.
Brian also described how Blue Blood’s name came from he and his partners’ career as police officers. Brian also gave us information about craft beer setup and production. He told us how craft beer is growing significantly, but only accounts for about 1% of the beer market nationally. He’s excited to offer this new tasting room to Lincoln.
